Diestelkamp, Leslie. Here Am I, Send Me (published in 1976 by Diestelkamp Printing, P.O. Box 891, Cortland, IL 60112). This is an autobiography of the life and times of Leslie Diestelkamp, a gospel preacher among churches of Christ who was born in central Missouri in 1911 but did most of his located preaching work in the upper Midwest. When I worked with the church in Warrenton, MO, back in the middle 1970s, one of his cousins was a member there. For many years, he edited a little free paper entitled Think, which is still being published by his family. I had the privilege of knowing Diestelkamp and hearing him on several occasions through the years prior to his death in 1995. Also, I have been closely acquainted with many of his children and their families. A son-in-law was a professor of mine in college. In fact, several of his grandchildren have homeschooled. This autobiography also contains some essays, outlines, and article reprints by him.
