Flanagan, Terry. Snoopy’s Facts and Fun Book about Seasons (published in 1979 by Random House Children’s Books). When our boys were both younger, they loved the Peanuts comic strip. So when Mark was studying the seasons in his fourth grade homeschool science, we checked this book, based on the Charles M. Schulz cartoon characters, to complement his reading. It describes the four seasons and some of the activities connected with them. There is also Snoopy’s Facts and Fun Book about Nature which describes many of the plants and animals that can be seen on a hike through the woods. Other books in the series include Planes, Houses, Trucks, and Boats. They would make a fun yet interesting and informative way for kids to study these subjects.
