Kilpatrick, Karen.  Imagine (published in 2015 by Nina Charles Publishing, 9924 N.W. 65th Mnr., Parkland, FL  33076).  If you could just imagine something and it would happen, what would it be?  The ongoing cast of Pumpkinheads characters all pretend different things.  Xavy is flying through the clouds like a superhero to help people.  Danza is being a shark to explore deep in the ocean where it’s dark.  Sage is having her own show on television to make people laugh.  What is Lulu wishing for with that magic swish?   Youngsters can join the Pumpkinheads in this silly adventure, scheduled to be released in October, 2015, that explores the power of imagination and the differences that make the world beautiful. “Imagine and dream. Play and learn. Now you have the wand. It is your turn.”

Imagine is one of the award-winning Pumpkinheads series of books.  Children will be encouraged by Tara Louise Campbell and Matthew Wilson’s colorful and dynamic illustrations to use their imaginations. The Pumpkinheads’ mission is to educate, empower, inspire, and entertain through multiple media platforms and above all, help children learn through play.  Author Karen Kilpatrick has been writing and creating for as long as she can remember and believes that qualities such as courage, kindness, tolerance and appreciation can be taught.  She says that it’s never too early to learn character building concepts, especially from fun books.  The special message for kids in this volume is “Keep Dreaming!”
