Bowman, Dee.  That’s Life, Too: A Second Helping of Wit and Wisdom (published in 2006 by the Harwell/Lewis Publishing Company, P. O. Box 3385, Lakeland, FL  33802).  For some sixteen years, from 1984 through 1999, Dee Bowman, Paul Earnhart, Ed Harrell, Sewell Hall, and Brent Lewis edited a subscription religious paper called Christianity Magazine. Co-editor Dee Bowman wrote a regular column called “That’s Life.”  Around 1990 or so, Religious Supply of Louisville, KY, published a collection of many of those articles entitled That’s Life!: The Book.  Subtitled “A Second Helping of Wit and Wisdom” from the pen of Dee Bowman, That’s Life, Too is also taken mostly from his column in Christianity Magazine. Some of the selections include The Tree and Me, Five Ways to Ruin a Marriage, The Good in Bad Days, North to Alaska, Live Joyfully with the Wife of Your Youth, Eliminate the Negatives, Does Jesus Care?,  Who Was That Masked Man?, Why Me?, and My Aunt Minnie, along with  pages devoted to Life-Lines, Life-Passages, Life-Savers, and Life-by-the-Numbers.   Readers will be entertained and uplifted by these stories, and they will find that this is a great book to give as a gift.
