Klein, Edward. All Out War: The Plot to Destroy Trump (Published in 2017 by Regnery Publishing, a division of Salem Media Group, 300 New Jersey Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001). Investigative reporter Edward Klein, the former editor in chief of the New York Times Magazine, a contributing editor to Vanity Fair, and the author of the national bestsellers Guilty as Sin, Unlikeable, Blood Feud, The Amateur, The Truth about Hillary, The Kennedy Curse, and All Too Human, explains why the progressive leftist Democrats, the wishy-washy “No Trump” Republicans, and their allies in the mainstream drive-by media, hate President Donald Trump so much and details what they have been doing in their attempts to depose him. The only warning which I have is that there is a large amount of vulgar language; it appears that liberal politicians are among the most foul-mouthed people on the face of the earth. Other than this, I have one basic word to describe this book in review, and that is, AMEN!
Klein reveals how the plot to destroy Trump was initiated in the Obama White House. If only a fourth of what he writes is true, and he documents everything quite thoroughly, heads should role, beginning with Barak Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s. This book was a gift. I normally don’t buy books on politics because they make me mad. If they’re written from a leftist standpoint, that makes me mad, and if they’re written from a conservative standpoint, they make me mad at liberals. Since I’m taking blood pressure medicine, I don’t need to be mad all the time. All Out War has three appendices, the now known to be fake “British Dossier,” and two exclusive FBI reports that prove the existence of “the Deep State” working against the Trump agenda, warn of ISIS ties to the anti-Trump “resistance,” and highlight the danger of domestic terrorism from the anti-Trump radicals.
Klein is obviously an admirer of Trump, but not slavishly so. He doesn’t hesitate to point out the President’s faults and foibles, chronicle his mistakes, and show where he has been his own worst enemy. To be honest, I did not vote for Trump in the 2016 Republican primary. I am certainly not under any illusion that Trump is some sort of paragon of virtue. However, since he was elected, I have generally agreed with his policies and supported him because he has appointed rock solid conservative judges, stood up for the pro-life agenda, and promoted religious freedom, among other things. By the way, this book was written long before the recently released Mueller Report came out, and what we know about the Mueller Report so far appears to vindicate completely what Klein wrote. No collusion or even any evidence for obstruction of justice!
